Founding President & CEO of ACE | Access to Capital for Entrepreneurs Grace Covington Fricks to Retire, Martina Edwards to Succeed Her on January 1, 2025Nearly 24 years ago Grace Covington Fricks started ACE to provide affordable loans to entrepreneurs in need of fair and equitable financing for their businesses. This year, Grace will retire on December 31st and turn the organization’s leadership over to Martina Edwards, ACE’s Chief of Strategic Partnerships since 2019. In the role of CEO Edwards’ experience will ensure ACE remains stable, financially secure, and open to ideas about how the organization can better serve small businesses throughout Georgia.

ACE Partners with Starbucks and Atlanta Dream to Benefit Small BusinessesACE is excited to be the beneficiary of a collaboration between Starbucks Coffee Company and WNBA team Atlanta Dream focused on empowering small, woman-owned and BIPOC-owned businesses in the Atlanta market. The brands will collaborate with ACE to financially support minority entrepreneurs through the Atlanta Dream Collective, which is a strategic program aimed at assisting small businesses in overcoming marketing obstacles by enhancing their brand presence at Atlanta Dream games and connecting them with Dream fans.
